素食者――Vegetarian
William: Would you like to come over for dinner tonight?
Alexis: Sure, but I have to tell you that I've become a vegetarian. I don't eat any kind of meat.
William: When did you decide to become a vegetarian?
Alexis: I saw a program a few months ago about how anmials are raised for human consumption. I haven't been able to eat a single piece of meat since.
William: That's great. Do you find that you eat a lot more fruit and vegetables now?
Alexis: Definitely. I've also been buying organic fruit and vegetables, which is more expensive, but much better for you because they don't have any pesticides on them.
William: You've really turned into a health nut, haven't you?
Alexis: I guess you could say that. Eating fruit and vegetables helps keep you healthy. I've lost 5 pounds and I feel great!
William: How do you get enough protein in your diet?
Alexis: Well, I eat a lot more tofu, beans, nuts and some fish.
William: Well, don't worry about dinner. I'll only make vegetarian dishes for you.

阿历克斯:我想你说对了。吃水果和蔬菜有助于保证身体健康。我已经减掉5磅了,感觉真是好极了!
威廉:那你怎么保证饮食中的营养呢?
阿历克斯:嗯,我会多吃豆腐、豆类、坚果和鱼。
威廉:不用担心晚饭的事情。我会专门为你制作素食的。
